Plan perspectif de l’École royale militaire

Beautiful cavalier view of the École Militaire, in Paris, engraved by Née and Masquelier after Lespinasse in 1778. It represents the École Militaire from the present place de Fontenoy, with in its prolongation the Champ-de-Mars, the Seine and the right bank overhung by the convent of Chaillot (destroyed in 1794). Removal of the plate engraved in 1778, without the arms of France and the letter-dedication to Louis XVI, and with the engraved mention Isle de France n° 57.
