Folio, loose as issued, 86 pp. ; in original grey pictorial wrappers and publisher's burgundy cloth portfolio, inner blue felt, with Foujita's signature reproduced at the bottom of the upper cover, title and name of the artist on the full height of the spine.

First edition. One of 170 copies printed on large Rives vellum with the final state of the illustrations, signed in ink by Foujita and numbered 189.

The work is illustrated with 21 original lithographs in colors by Léonard Foujita, 5 of which are out of the text (one double page).

The spine of the slipcase is slightly faded, very minor defects, not serious.
