First edition. Limited edition of 500 copies on wove paper, n° 241 for the text volume and n° 316 for the plates volume.

The text volume is illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of Gustave Eiffel, 2 double plates of reproductions of signatures and autographs, and numerous figures and diagrams. Well completed with the Appendix on Eiffel's works and the main works executed by his establishments from 1867 to 1890. The atlas includes 53 double lithographed plates, several of them in color, numbered I to XLVII (including 8 pl. bis, ter or quater, plates XXVI and XXVII were never published), 13 heliogravures on 12 sheets showing the stages of the construction of the Eiffel Tower, and a double-page lithographed map in color of the surroundings of Paris, the whole mounted on tabs Colophon on the last leaf of both volumes.
