In folio (384 x 290 mm). In sheets, in a filled illustrated cover, grey silk folder and grey silk case with two bands of silk and black and grey embossed velvet on the boards.

First edition, one of 365 numbered copies on vélin pur chiffon de Rives, this one numbered 171. The illustration includes 21 original copperplates by Salvador Dali, 14 of which are in color off-text signed in the plate by the artist and 7 vignettes in bistre.

A very nice copy despite some minor wear to the silk of the cover and the slipcase as well as two very small stains on one of the slipcase's cover.
