Beautiful atlas including an engraved allegorical title and 36 maps mounted on mitre, numbered and engraved on double page, of which one in black and white showing spheres and 35 colored in the Dutch manner, by Rigobert Bonne, le Sr Janvier, Rizzi-Zannoni and Guillaume de L'Isle. Three leaves of text (Avertissement, Table et Catalogue du fonds du Sr Lattré) complete the work.

Handwritten bookplate in ink on the title.

The work is complete with its plates (error of numbering in the table, the map n°25 absent from the table). Title slightly narrower with small loss of paper in lower margin. Maps 2 and 3 split without missing at the fold; at the end of the volume, small wormholes in the margins of about 15 maps. Ink stain on edges with slight damage to margins. Slight soiling. Binding rubbed.
