A large folio volume (45,5 x 30 cm); cardboard boards covered with green vellum paper, spine and boards decorated with gilt castors, title-piece on spine, traces of laces. Herbarium of 337 ff. (numbered 336 - 2 ff. num. 35) of which 160 are blank

Superb medicinal herbarium consisting of 177 leaves with one or two specimens per plate. The plants, whole, dried and carefully preserved, are fixed with small paper strips and accompanied by a small handwritten label indicating the name of the plant in Latin and French. Very good condition despite small worm holes from folio 284 to folio 320.
