Tobias Conrad Lotter (1717-1777) was a pioneer among German cartographers, publishers and engravers of the 18th century. He was based in Augsburg where he engraved numerous maps published by his father-in-law, Matthaus Seutter, the imperial geographer and engraver of Augsburg.
