It extends north from the Gobi desert to Shen-Yang (Shenyang) and south from Hupei province (Hubei) to Hang-Chou (Hangzhou) and Shanghai in the west. Presented at a scale of 1:1,355,000, the map shows cities, roads, imperial tombs... It also clearly identifies the borders of the provinces with colored outlines.
